YAHOO MESSENGER TO SHUT DOWN ON 5 AUGUST | The Announcement from Yahoo's Chief was made earlier , Start from 5 August , the support for yahoo legacy will be cut off . The legacy app which will be cut of is the standalone app for dekstop version. For new version, it still working .

Yahoo Messenger started in 1998 and being popular during 2000's . there are moments for yahoo messenger when they start using it . Chat with random people and making friends through this yahoo Messenger . Some of us ,start to know their husband and wife through this medium .

But Now , there are a lot of social media network that will replace that legenday network . People also prefer to used Facebook, Twitter and others to make friends and to connect with each other . Since that happen, Yahoo Messenger no longer be the first choice to connect people as usual . And all the memory and experience using yahoo messenger will remains inside the users .
